Radio Antena Wire Routing

I have searched and found nothing. I know lots of people here know these trucks inside and out. How is the wire for the antena supposed to be routed and were is the pass through?

Thanks......

Antenna should be located on the passenger side cowl corner piece....the small square panel above the fender and beside the cowl. If you open the door and pop the hood you can get to the bolts to remove it. There is a hole with a grommet under it to feed the cable through.

The upper fender/cowl panel has the hole for the antena, but I don't see one under it leading into the cab. Anyone have a pic of where the hole should be?

Thanks

Alot of the Baltimore trucks mounted them on the driver side as mine was. I have had 2 baltimore trucks w/driver side antenneas.

I think mine was snaked in between the cowl corner piece and the cab into the engine compartment and from there it went into the cab through a hole that was in the center of a little round bump (I don't know the technical term for that) on the fire wall.

Mine has a hole that was punched into the cab corner under the cowl piece. It looked like someone used a center punch and drove it through the sheet metal. I don't if this is how they did it at the factory, dealership or if the owner did it? I believe my truck does have the original radio though. The cable goes over or behind the glovebox to the radio.

alot of trucks were not ordered with a radio, and had delete plates instead. if installed at the dealer, it may have been installed on either side also.

The hole above is probably the best reference, just add plenty of silly-cone to the hole :)

On my '60 the hole is in a slightly different location, so it is more than possible that the factory/dealer popped the hole in after the customer ordered the radio.

see below for my location.
