87 chevy silverado, steering column help
I have of questions regarding parts inside the steering column. My ignition cylinder will not go into the "lock" position. I replaced the ignition switch actuator with an ignition switch kit. I will post pics in less than 30 mins.. Just wondering if anyone would know what im talking about.

also, what is circled in the picture. that is supposed to come a little farther up than it is, to lock the steering wheel. but it is not coming up any further. i am confused on this and need help. and where the marker is on the outside of the housing where you see the "lock marker" is not lineing up correctly with the ignition cylinder.

The better half downloaded this to help me rebuild the column in the truck, Fiero and Chevelle. Probably one of the best ones that I have found.
