5.3 with 6L80 swap?
 

Hi all,
I am going to be swapping a 2011 5.3 with 6L80 attached into an 86, I see v502 had this done but does anyone know if the engine sat in the same place as the original place or did he have to buy mounts that moved it forward or backwards?

Also, does the trans cross member need to be lower for the tranny to fit in place?

Anything I need to be aware of for the swap?

Look in to the ls swap area in the drivetrain section. Just about all the info you will ever need.
