Grille question

Will the grille and headlight bezels off of an '89 crew cab fit an '83 regular cab without changing the radiator support?

Re: Grille question

You need the rad support, lower grille filler panel, headlight mounts, marker lights, grille and headlight bezels of course, and the 89 headlight harness spliced into your original harness.

My 79 currently has an 89 K5 front clip on it. Its a nice upgrade if you can get all the parts you need and a day to do it.

Re: Grille question

safe to assume, one would also need the radiator support to go from an 83 (single headlight) to an 87 stacked headlights?

after the rad support is obtained, I'd just need headlight doors and headlights right?

(I plan on reusing the existing billet grill in there now) I've been scouring craigslist and local yards looking for the complete assembly but haven't had much success.

Rock Auto wants $92 for the support and $91 to ship it.

As far as I can tell, and the research I have done, you are correct. You might check on e-bay for a rad support, that's where I found mine. Good luck.
