need a pic of the back to ID the case for sure. But it looks like a TH400 bolt pattern in the pic.

yep, looks like a late model GM 205, slip yoke style, 6 bolt round pattern, 32 spline, found behind turbo 400's from '88-'92? and NV4500's '93 up.

Its original to the k3500. It has the W style cross member.

It's not a round, its a figure 8 with a turbo 400 adapter

That is a late 80s TH400 version NP 205. Figure 8 has a taller adapter, that one is short. Could be swapped in,but has the electric plug for 4wd on shift rail....

I could be wrong, but most 1984 and down turbo 400 205 had figure 8 with adapters.
We dont need to be rude to have a discussion.
The second pic in the above post is not what I was looking for sorry about that, wont let me edit now. And I cant seem to find one of the figure 8 to turbo 400.

DirtRocket8x could you post a pic of the front of the case where the adapter bolts to it?
The one you have is a little to close to see the back of the adapter.

i have the one for the figure 8 and th400. it looks a lot like the th350-205 adapter..

After much photo searching it appears that the adapter I thought looked like my old 84 turbo 400 205 is in fact one on a round pattern 205 . I was wrong and can accept that.
