Do you guys know what the little orange fitting is. Looks like there were little hoses going there. It's a 1978 inline 250. It's right below the lifter cover and above the starter to the right. Want to know if I can take it out or what ?? Posted via Mobile Device |

hey, straightsix. i have a 292, and i removed a bracket from the passenger side that connected from the top motor mount bolt to the alternator. now it wont fit. i noticed you dont have that bracket. just curios if you ran into the same problem or if the 250 did not come with bracket. also what blue is that?! i bought a chevy blue and its not the same color. sorry to bump the thread. just dont come across straight sixes that much around here.

No I never had that bracket curious to see it what it looks like. And the paint on the engine is gm blue. I bought a couple cans from Pepboys I painted break booster power steering pump thermostat housings and heater on firewall Attachment 1140776
