Re: Drop Shocks
I made some top mounts and got my shock to sit more straight, put my original shocks back on.Will get some shorter shocks this winter(maybe)

Re: Drop Shocks
Trust me the stock front shocks work great on the rear. A lot of people on this board use them as a good cheap smaller shock.

Re: Drop Shocks
OK I took it out today and ran a little over a hundred miles ,they did bottom out on the bad bumps. You wouldn't happen to have a part # would you THANKS

Re: Drop Shocks
when you use the front shock for the rear. do you still have to use shock extenders??

Re: Drop Shocks
If u lowered the rear like I did somewher around 3 1/2" to 4" then I would recomend to relocate the shock top or bottom.I did and it drives like a differant truck now.My stock shock Monroe gas matic #56001 19.5"extened and 12." collopased will bottom out on a agressive bump/dip etc.. I looked on line (Adv.Auto)and found some Monroe #59041 that are a little shorter 14.6" extended and 10.1" collapsed
