headlights/dash lights don't work...
just rebuilt top end on my 350...
stainless valves, ported the heads, cam, edelbrock victor intake, liquid damper etc. bottom end only has 4000 miles on a fresh rebuild... but any way head lights didn't work after i got the motor back in... sprayed out the light switch w/wd-40 and lights worked.. then they went dead again, figured it was the switch...replaced switch, still no lights... no voltage at the lamp sockets... |
Concentrate on the wires at the switch...shorted or corroded.
Then again, it coulda been coincidence that they worked after a cleaning. ------------------ '69 G.M.C. 350/350. Check your floor dimmer switch as well, when the one in my 66 C/20 went bad, the lights wouldn't work at all, but the dimmer switch still operated normally
