Holley Mid Rise LS Intake P/N300-126
1 Attachment(s)
Has anyone seen this intake (Holley 300-126) actually installed and used? I can't find any builds that give info with part numbers for injectors and the like. Just wondering if anyone has seen it in use.

Same concept as the hi-ram just shorter. Injectors wouldn't have a special part number, as Holley doesn't know what your fuel system requirements would be. iirc they use the standard tall-body injectors like most of the non-truck LS engines, and pretty much every aftermarket company will get you one in any flow you need.
You probably don't see it used much, as I don't really know what gains are to be had. The hi-ram has some gains, but its biggest benefit is cool factor and a love of teaming with some additional atmospheres. |

Honestly the only real advantage is aesthetics. The truck manifold is ugly!!! This manifold is trick. It would no doubt be an expensive upgrade, but combined with their coil covers it would seriously help the look of these engines.

Heck the high ram should still fit under the hood if your engine isn't too high up on perches, and its barely more expensive. Go big or go home. I would really like to go hi-ram or the ProFlow XT but I'm having a hard time figuring out if I can get one to work with my DBW TB.

I believe Hot Rod or Chevy High performance just did a comparison on that manifold vs stock vs the high rise. I dont remember the outcome except of course the high rise made more power at the top of the rev range.

Yeah, as long as the performance is not degraded I am interested in using it purely for the look. Also, the aluminum manifold is surely stronger and less susceptible to cracking. My intent for this thread was to find out if anyone know which injectors will work based on this statement in the installation instruction:
"The 300-121 intake manifold with the 534-204 fuel rail kit is designed to accept Bosch Style EV-1 or Magneti MarelliPico fuel injectors. OE LS fuel injectors may not fit properly in the EFI intake manifold and fuel rail assembly." |

The only fitment issue would be the height, but that shouldn't be an issue with the injectors I mentioned. The truck injectors won't fit. |

Thanks BR3W that's what I was looking for!
