i need front bump stops where can i get em

Ok so i ordered some from energy suspension caus the pic looked right but they are not. I need som lower control arm stops for my 68 that will replace the oe. Preferably poly and not rubber. But the ones i got are push through but the groves are not wide enough to allow them to snap in. I think they are for a car. I need some that are at least as tall as oe caus the fender tire clearance is tight. Le me know what yall are running

check auto part stores for some universal type bumpstops. they sell them in various sizes and only require a small hole for the stud and bolt. Thats what I did on mine. Got the tallest ones, cut them to size, drilled a hole in my lca and bolted them in. Easy.

I saw some rubber bumpers on Brothers Trucks this morning. I'd give them a call to confirm they'll fit your ride.

Grooves are long enough, but too narrow to easily slide in? If so you probably have the right ones. Are you using the vehicle weight to install them? Lube the caca out of them and put them in the groove, wedge a board in there with it jacked up, then let the jack down. It should pop in relatively easy.

Uh naa i wedged a board in there and pried like heck. No go so i start comparing them to the oe they are taller by about 3/4" wider and the groves in the bottem are about 1/8 wide as opposed to 1/4 wide on the oe. I dont see no way in hadies they are going in there unless i open the grove up with a grinder wich is what im thinking im gonna try. Ill still have to knock a little hight off:)
