Cargo Light
4 Attachment(s)
My original cargo light was smashed and damaged so i bought a replacement from LMC , it dose not fit tight nor really conform to the body curves and after a couple of year the screws are rusting , any ideas, i thought about getting stainless screws but these have some kind of a shoulder on them

Re: Cargo Light
Get some stainless screws, the screws in their kit are nothin special. I just installed their cargo light and am very happy with it. I guess I'll swap out the screws for stainless now.

Re: Cargo Light
Replace with SS screws and take it back apart and put the rubber part in some hot water and let it get soft then install it. I like using my kerosene heater for this. I sit it outside the garage and let it heat up good then place a pan on top to heat up. It works great.;):chevy:

Re: Cargo Light
it was about a million degrees in the sun when i did mine. It was a pain in the butt i seem to remember but the warm cab (burning hot) loosened up the rubber. Isnt there a weird tophat nut grommet thing. I put mine in backwards I think and had to redo it all.
