Re: How do I adjust the Shift Indicator
Depends which way its off you have to adjust or make your own linkage,Or lose the body kit and put a stock linkage back on it.

Re: How do I adjust the Shift Indicator
If it is a mechanical rod the fix would be to put the trans in neutral, shifter at neutral and see how much longer or shorted it needs to be. Add or shorten enough to tread the rod for a threaded rod end, maybe using a heavy turn buckle with reverse threads so turning oneway lengthens, other shortens.

Re: How do I adjust the Shift Indicator
Surely there is some adjustment built into it?
I have put dozens of bodylifts on earlier model trucks and everything with a solid linkage rod had a sliding adjuster on the transmission end. |
Re: How do I adjust the Shift Indicator
OK I messed with it tonight and set it to Netural like OrrieG said, so R,N & D were right on but P I had push so it would click and it would only go to 2 so I am thinking the bend needs to be straightened out to give it more throw
