Front fender emblem
Got an emblem for the front fender of my 67 3/4 ton, but.... how the heck can I install it without pulling body panels off ? arrgh!!

Re: Front fender emblem
i think you might have to drop the inner fender and reach up from the bottom

Re: Front fender emblem
that's what I did. Dropped the inners, loosened (not removed) the fenders then used a ratchet wrench w some tape to hold the speed nut while I positioned and tightened. Takes some wiggling but it did work for both emblems on each side.

Re: Front fender emblem
Badging on some vehicles were held on by "barrel" clips. (If you see one you'll know why its called that.) They're simply slid down over the prong, where you would place the speed nut, then you just push the badge into place. You'll hear the tabs "pop" when they lock it into position. Probably find them at any parts store or dealership. They're easy on/easy off!

Yep, drop the inner fender. Really not a big deal. You can see a few pics on my build thread where I replaced the fender emblems.
