Lets see your motors, Stock to wild
3 Attachment(s)
Since we can put just about anything under the hood, seems these trucks have the largest variations of power plants.
Start it off with the ubiquitous Small Block. Aftermarket block and heads, all Iron, from the boys up at DART. 427 cubic inches of full roller, parts breaking, shenanigan inducing, race gas burning terror. Attachment 1224288 Attachment 1224289 Attachment 1224290 Pretty boring really with just a single Holley and no power adders. However I moved the battery under the bed and built a giant top tank aluminum radiator that cleaned up the area. So lets see yours.:metal: |

Simply stock, original 283, intake, Rochester 2bbl, valve covers & the old oil bath air cleaner. Some might consider it boring but, it works for me!

Re: Lets see your motors, Stock to wild
I like the updated engines sitting in the engine bays, but those original engines are freakin' SWEET when all painted up nice and pretty. Nothing better, in my opinion.
That said, I have a 454 on a stand in the garage waiting to go in to my 66 C20. |

Here's mine, currently a work in progress. 350, 9.6-1, modded Vortec heads, hydraulic roller (227/230 @ .050, .510/.525 lift on a 112 lobe center), Air Gap intake, Holley 750 vacuum secondary, 1992 serpentine set-up. Still need to run the fuel and water lines, and hook up the electrical.
