1989 under dash wiring issue
I just got this truck a couple of weeks ago, none of the dash gauges work. Since it is a nice day, I thought I'd start figuring out why.
Hmm, this doesn't look right... http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/c...FFEEC6E6D5.jpg http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/c...EEBB726A0F.jpg I go to look at my '94 suburban Yep, definitely more wires http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/c...9889AEB363.jpg http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/c...38229E2C59.jpg Now, what to do? Some questions for the more experienced in this forum... Where can I find a schematic for the under dash wiring? Should I piece it back together, or try to find a complete harness that is still good and possibly affordable? Are all those gauges really necessary to the driving experience anyway? And a shot of both trucks, just for the heck of it. http://i218.photobucket.com/albums/c...376C361B33.jpg |

Re: 1989 under dash wiring issue
Wow that looks all screwed up! Whoever owned it before you really hacked into that. Maybe try an piece it together but if you can't I would just find a new harness from a junk truck.
