vent window noise
My truck has all new rubbers in the vent windows but I still have wind noise I used masking tape to find out where the noise came from It is from the rubber gskt to the door frame. Do i have to remove the whole assy and seal behind there or is there an easier fix.

Two things happen when you drive a 67 to 72 that wonderfull SQUEAK of the clutch pedal spring and the whistle of the vent windows ! I love em both ! LOL I dont know of a fix for it they just kind of came that way ,,,

Re: vent window noise
Agree. They were noisy when new, so even with new parts that are to the nominal design specification you will probably still get wind noise.

Re: vent window noise
I just crack open my driver vent window and the whistle goes away. Even opening the floor vent quiets it down.

Re: vent window noise
Are you talking about the frame to door contact area? That's easy enough to fix with a strip of thin rubber, or foam.
