How do I remove the horn ring so I can fix the horn.

Pry off the center cap, then there are three screws that hold it on.

mine has some screws hidden in the backside of the ring

OP…don't pry on anything. The deluxe steering wheel has a couple of holes on the backside of the spokes that provide access to the screws for the center cap. Once you remove the center cap, you can access the screws that attach the horn ring.

My error apparently, my deluxe wheel on the 66 has a snap in center cap

yeah...look at the back of the wheel and you'll see the two screws on either side of the wheel. Center section will come off then and give you access to the rest.

1/4" deep socket from the backside, 3/4 for the column nut and 1/2 for the bolts that come in the wheel puller kit.....I've pulled mine a thousand times uugh

The screws are either phillips, or clutch-head.
The three screws that hold the plastic ring inside the horn assembly are clutch heads. -Brad |
