Gauge cluster question
Picked up a cluster from a guy who said it came off of a 85 blazer. It has the fuel gauge next to the speedo, the one I have has the smaller fuel gauge on the lower left and I have the Rpm next to the speedo. Would I just be able to swap this out with any modifications?

Re: Gauge cluster question
No, have to repin the plug in the rear, maybe use your printed cercuit on the back of your cluster.

Ah dang ok

Re: Gauge cluster question
It's definitely do-able but it takes some time and effort. Get both of them off and lay them side by side. Then you need to trace path on the printed circut board and compare the two. Then re-pin.
why are you swapping? They usually go the other way around (try to swap in tach for big fuel gauge). |
Re: Gauge cluster question
What's wrong with your tach cluster?

Re: Gauge cluster question
We'll I had put aftermarket gauges, then took them out, so I'm missing my oil pressure and coolant temp. My tach doesn't read anything. It only spikes up once when I put the key in. I picked up this other cluster for $10. The truck is 2hours away at my parents house and I plan on driving it to my house and I just wanted to install that cluster with all the gauges just for the trip
