New member w/ a newly acquired 83 GMC Sierra....

Hey all. I've just acquired an 83 Sierra reg. cab short bed and ventured over this way thanks to Captkaos:). Anyhow, I spend most of my time over a fullsizechevy.com but looks like I may get some more classic information here.

A little about the 83....I bought it recently from fiveeightchevy and plan to do quite a bit to it mainly in the restoration dept and making it a reliable clean daily driver.

Look forward to learning as much as possible.

While FSC doesn't have many pre-88 members, it's a VERY lively forum.

Low87 08-06-2003 10:04 AM

WELCOME! I guess I did miss a lot, I didn't know Izzy had sold out. Glad the truck is sticking around, and getting an upgrade with the Oklahoma registration.

Captkaos 08-06-2003 01:12 PM

Glad you made it over Cameron. Good to see Izzy left her in capable hands.

AirMale 08-06-2003 01:21 PM

Welcome :) Glad to see the truck go to another person that enjoys these rather than turns them into work trucks

2 bagged rides? Im jealous!

Drop a nice 350 in that 83 and you'd be set. Oh yeah, maybe some paint :D

bagged81 08-06-2003 04:52 PM

Looks like it has some potential!

Welcome! :metal:

 Hehehe. Yeah....bagged trucks are great.

I'm tossing the idea of a zz4 and a built th350. I think that oughta boost the tire roasting ability:D.
