New member w/ a newly acquired 83 GMC Sierra....

Hey all. I've just acquired an 83 Sierra reg. cab short bed and ventured over this way thanks to Captkaos. Anyhow, I spend most of my time over a fullsizechevy.com but looks like I may get some more classic information here.

A little about the 83....I bought it recently from fiveeightchevy and plan to do quite a bit to it mainly in the restoration dept and making it a reliable clean daily driver.

Look forward to learning as much as possible.

Cameron

Welcome. It will be good to keep eyes on 5-8's old truck's progress. You will definitely get much more help on that truck here.

While FSC doesn't have many pre-88 members, it's a VERY lively forum.

Word. FSC is mainly 88+ guys. Anyhow, it's great to be here and sure looks like I've found the right place.

Welcome Cameron.

If you love Chevy/GMC trucks, you will love this place for sure. You won't have time to get bored here There's too much going on. Check out some of the other forums here. There's more to this place than this one forum.

83's ROCK

Congrads on the truck. They are easy to cut up and weld up.
Just look at mine.
Just take pics and post them.

WELCOME! I guess I did miss a lot, I didn't know Izzy had sold out. Glad the truck is sticking around, and getting an upgrade with the Oklahoma registration.

Drop a nice 350 in that 83 and you'd be set. Oh yeah, maybe some paint

Hehehe. Yeah....bagged trucks are great.

I'm tossing the idea of a zz4 and a built th350. I think that oughta boost the tire roasting ability.
