Battery problems

Does anyone know why my battery dies after starting my truck only twice? It's a brand new battery.

What's the status of the alternator? I'd start there. Might be a parasitic draw as well somewhere. Did the problems start AFTER the new battery or did you buy a new battery because you were having problems with the old battery?

Got the alternator tested at advance auto parts. All good. Before I got the new battery the old one had short circuited. Then the starter went. I think there could be something pulling current. There is a switch in the truck which is supposed to turn all electronics off. I don't know if this switch could be bad?

Can I use that to check the switch too?

You can check power to the switch. It's a good tool to have either way.
