Project Cappacino.
 
Well figure I better start a build thread. I could use some guidence on how to post pics though.

Lets start by sayiong my truck is a 72 LWB Custion deluxe Highlander edition Med olive and white. I am in the home stretch of a 2yr frame off and will start posting pics shortly one I figure out how.

Rear suspension reistalled and upgraded all but the swaybar.

LOL no I have been building this truck for 2 years just getting to post the pics now. Truck should be in paint before end of August.

The turbo 350 completley rebuilt and mated to the engine. Then dropped into the chassis.

Now cab panel replacemment and vintage air plates welding begins. Pounding out dents and getting the cab ready for primer. Future owner of the truck inspecting the work.

That chassis and engine are works of art! Excellent progress on the cab too.

Laid paint on the firewall and bottom of cab. The truck will be this Sunset Bronze Mica and Pearl White when complete.

Nice job on the old girl.
Have you been able to find headers that will clear the CPP tubular engine stands?
If you haven't started looking into it yet trust me you don't even want to mess with it I have a better solution.

Yes I am using Sanderson shorties. They fit great.

Now that the outside firewall and floor are painted the cab meets the frame and the doors get fitted back on.

The truck was a steel floor but I am now converting it to a wood floor bed. Did a mock up bolting of the box and then give it a test fit. Starting to look like a truck again after almost 2 years.
