Should brace the cab before any floor surgery. At the minimum leave the doors on and shut.

What exactly is giving you trouble?

Re: help with rear cab support

I think most of the problem is an ill fitting reproduction. I have a wrecked donor cab with a good support in it. I am going to cut that out and try that. getting away from it for the weekend might also will help. I am also trying to do it with the cab on. wanted to restore the cab integrity before removing it. I cut the old one off about half way up and am trying to butt the new one to it. Installing all new rocker inner and outer and front lower pillar and cab corner

Ah, I went through much of the same. The repop rear cab supports I received required a fair amount of rework. I also installed them with the cab on the frame.

It all turned out well though, at least IMO.

Nice job. Noticed you didn't brace the cab....no issues there? I see some that do and some don't....

Re: help with rear cab support

Thanks guys. You'll see in my build thread that the cab was braced and panels were zip-screwed in place after setting the door gaps but prior to welding the floor panels and rockers. I tightened up the door gaps, particularly at the rear, a bit from stock.
