performance exhaust system

I am looking to replace the exhaust system in my 64 c10 with a swapped 350 sbc. I like the sound of glasspacks so I would like some ideas for an H pipe set up. If I could also get a recommendation on a high flow cat that would be great. And some header ideas as well, I know they aren't part of an exhaust system but I'm looking for some at the moment and need opinions. I want a loud low rumble and high performance since I intend to take the truck on the drag strip. My thoughts were doing an H pipe coming out the sides, I just need to know the sizes and specs on the system since I don't really know what is best.

For what your looking for I would run 40 series flow masters and 2 1/2" pipe. Pick a set of headers that best match your engine combination. The header manufactures can help with that. My guess would be 1 5/8 primaries and 3 1/2" collectors. I like a good coated header.

You don't need cats and unless you have 500 horsepower you do not need an H pipe. Two other threads started this week on headers check there and faq section for header #s. I run 2.5" pipe to Flowmaster delta 40s dumped in front of axle.

While some say you don't need an "H" pipe... they sure sound a hell of alot better with them. (You don't have all the backfire garble on decel/defuel)

I have spintech's and an H-pipe... see my build thread (page 6 or 7) for video and earlier (Page 2 or 3) for exhaust routing
