Small Block 327 issues

Hey Guy's,

Sorry about the stab in the dark but been having issues with my pig(c10) motor.

I have a 327 s/b and when i get the motor to turn over, i have to keep my foot on the gas otherwise it stales, same thing happens when after ive kept reving the motor to warm it up. i have managed to get it to idle once, the motor sounded like it had a lumpy cam (no engine mods have been done to the motor) then stalled with a big back fire out the exhaust.

Things ive done to try and fix.

Replaced fuel filter. checked all spark plugs and leads.

Atm the moment im stumped and would love any input you guys might have..

If it was running ok then it sounds like a rebuild on the carb may be in order.

Sounds like a big vacuum leak. Look for carb gasket, PCV hose and brake booster if you have them.
