Not tested, just pulled off 1969 GMC I parted and put on shelf. How do you test them - I've got a 12V power supply?

If I tested it right, the switch works. I hooked my 12V power supply to the terminal where the red wire was. I then attached a test light to the orange wire and when I engaged the switch, the test light would illuminate.
