Firewall Ground Copper Ribbon Wire - Where does it connect to?
1 Attachment(s)
Apologies, I hate asking these types of questions, but I searched the factory manual back and forth and though I thought I've seen it somewhere in there for the life of me I can't find it now.
So please, where does it connect to on the motor? The end part seems too narrow to connect to the cylinder head rear accessory hole. Pic attached 1974 GMC 1/2 Ton 2WD four speed manual, 350 V8, Quadrajet, no AC truck |

Bolt that ground strap right back onto the back of your head. Cylinder head that is!!

On my 6 cyl, it gets caught under a valve cover bolt, which are only 1/4".

I think the earlier models actually attached to the valve cover bolt.

It hooks on a valve cover bolt.

On my truck (TBI 350) it bolts to the back of the engine as was mentioned above. It's pretty difficult to get to. The distributor is in the way and you can't see it withou a mirror.
