Fuel filler length
Hey guys, I'm swapping my cab tank for a frame style. My question is does the length of the filler neck matter? What I'm planning on doing is running a stainless ep tube from the tank back into the cab from underneath to the original filler cap. (I like the look of the filler on the side of the cab) but want to make sure the length of tube won't effect anything. Vapor problems etc.
Thanks |
Re: Fuel filler length
A long neck with numerous bends will b pretty much impossible to fill up in a timely matter

If would be much easier if you made dummy filler cap out of the original fuel filler cap and hide the actual fuel filler behind the rear side marker light or the tail light.

Re: Fuel filler length
i like the way that looks, is that a hinge you can buy or homemade? And may be a stupid question but won't the electrical connection and gas fumes be a problem together?

Re: Fuel filler length
That appears to be an european style cabinet hinge
