Turbo 350 dumping fluid

When I drive my 67 C-10 it never leaks tranny fluid. But when I park it for a few weeks, it dumps about 2 Qts. This seems to be a fairly common problem with 350's. What gives? Thanks

Also, do you park it on level ground or it facing up or down?

There is a little check valve inside that is supposed to keep the fluid in the torque converter. When the valve leaks, the converter fluid will drain back into the tranny and leak out of any place it can. That's why it only happens when it sets for awhile. If you drive it occasionally, the fluid stays pumped up into the converter.

I changed every seal in my TH350 twice, before my tranny guy explained what was happening.
