NP 205 wiring to dash

Brain fart here....

84 K30 with a NP 205
Looking at the wiring of the 205, I see the hot comes from the fuse panel section A with a 20amp fuse.
With my IP, the 4x4 indicator is built into the speedometer above the left turn indicator.
With this following wire diagram I believe its for the 4x4 indicator thats in the left of the IP where the clock would be.
By reading the back of the IP printed circuit the wire will come in at pin #14, wire 141 ( Brown / White )to the bulb and out to printed circuit ground.

So would I be reading this right?
1. Forget all about the #150 ( Black ) ground wire to bus bar ground.
2. Attach #141 ( Brown / White ) to #150B ( Black ) that is the switch wire
3. Attach # 156B ( White ) to IP pin#14 and allow the IP to make the final ground.

Re: NP 205 wiring to dash

The 4 wheel drive indicator lights usually have a 2-wire plastic bulb socket that snaps into the appropriate hole in the cluster. They don't make use of the cluster's printed circuit traces (even though there are some leading to that hole).
