Clutch sizes for '67 C50 w/ 327 & 4-spd?

Anybody know how to find out what size clutch I have? NAPA has nothin on record, and a local parts house says they need to see mine to compare to. Any ideas on what might tell me? Both shop manuals I have don't say anything about specifics.

Thank you very much.

From my experience, you SHOULD have a 13" clutch. To make sure, look at the bellhousing. The 12" and smaller just had a cast bellhousing that bolted directly to the block. The 13" clutches have an adapter plate that is about 1/4" thick. And the bellhousing is rounder than the smaller clutch bells.

Although there is quite a bit of gunk in the way, it doesn't look like there is a plate, but I'll do better looking later on.

Any clue who might carry them if I did have the 13"?

Any MD/HD truck place should be able to help. This one on ebay should fit the bill too http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Me...854c7f&vxp=mtr Also the 13" and larger has 4 fingers and the smaller ones have 3. Also that plate has one bolt that bolts into the block on one of the starter mounting holes. (passenger side, bolt holes are vertical).

I just had the bright idea to look from the top of the engine, and it looks like there is a plate in between, so I'm gonna think I have a 13" clutch. but won't order it 'till I get it out to measure. Not worth the mistake.

Thanks for the help again. Always have good info. :)
