Vent Control Assembly

1 Attachment(s)
I'm trying to take off a kick-panel, there is a vacuum-driven switch there with a spring and a metal arm attached to the vent. The spring slips off, but what about the arm? It's like it is permanently attached. Picture bellow.

Thanks.

Just pry the small washers off. Put some lubricant. Be gentle or you will break them.

Yeah. I played with them with my fingers. I expected some play, but it's very solid; wouldn't even wiggle. I'll try again.

Needle nose pliers or flat screwdriver. I done a couple like that.

Take the panel off the truck so you can work better.

Can't take the panel off until the vacuum switch is removed. Can't remove the vacuum switch until arm is disconnected.

Remove the vacuum line from the diaphragm, then remove the entire plastic panel.

Thanks. I thought the screws there held the panel to the body.
