Wheel Vintiques 82 Series 16x10 (8 on 6-1/2) with 5" backspace. I want to use my OE dog-dish hubcaps as well. (my truck is an 87 V20) :chevy: |

Re: Will these work on our trucks?
not a great fit with the 5" backspace. that will tuck the wheels pretty far under and may contact the steering arms. thats made for the newer ifs trucks.
ideally a 4" backspace but i dont know about the caps fitment. that wheel is basically having the wheel mount surface at the center of the wheel. test fit a different wheel and compare the changes in wheel width at the backside of the barrel to see if it will hit anything. |
Re: Will these work on our trucks?
That's what I was afraid of...I guess that I'll stay with the original plan, and have Stockton widen my OE's...:chevy:

Not so fast. I dont know what those ones are for sure, but several folks on this site have used the 10" wide wheel vintiques and they look amazing! I'll find some pic.s

Re: Will these work on our trucks?
I believe the 16.5 x 9.75s had about a 5" backspace. There were two offsets available The ones with less backspace were intended as rear wheels for C/20s and C/30s, prior to big Dooley pickups
