I want to drop my 1985 Silverado C10 so my 4'10" wife can get into the truck easier without doing any cutting to the frame. maybe just some spindles 2 1/2 front and whatever in the back.

Re: Lowering Help

Can I run the Leaf springs under the axil and get shorter shocks? Or will that effect handling?

You should probably use the search button but shackles/hangers will give you 4 inches and level you out with the drop spindles in the front.

Re: Lowering Help

You can flip the rear springs an get shock extenders so you can still run stock length shocks. You'll need to cut one coil off your stock springs up front or get 2" drop springs to go with the spindles or the back will be lower than the front.

Flipping the axle won't negatively affect the handling
