Can someone identify this for me?
1 Attachment(s)
When I swapped out my motor I remember this being hooked up to a wire and I just seen that it is disconnected. I must have forgot to hook it up. And I had it at the shop to tune/time everything and they didn't hook it up either. Or either it came disconnected somehow. Anyways just trying to figure out what it is and if it's important to have hooked up. In the picture it goes into the top of the block right behind the intake manifold and next to the distributor. It looks yellow and dirty with one connection point on top. Thanks for your help.

Re: Can someone identify this for me?
Ok thanks guys. I knew I knew what it was just couldn't rememeber and tried looking it up on the Internet just couldn't rememeber exactly what it was to search for. And this just sends the pressure amount to the oil pressure gauge so I know what it is correct? I must have knocked the wire off the other day while working around it taking the kickdown cable off.

it is a grounded system that sends an ohm value "to" the guage and tells it what position to set the needle. in very simplified terms |
Re: Can someone identify this for me?
The wire that hooks to it should be tan.
