315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?
Ok I've been hunting the net for days and i haven't found anything, but would anyone know if I could squeeze a set of 315/35-20 on a 20x10 with a 5" off set on the front of a 72 c10 with cpp off set modular spindles?
it has a 3/5 drop and I have a nice 40 mile twisty canyon stretch of road at the end of my drive home and I will be running that same tires and wheels all the way around, because the truck see around 120-150 miles in total a day so I néed to be able to rotate them |
Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?
ive seen 335/20-18's done on the front.. but that c10 was really built.. im running a 245/40-20 right now, and i can turn till i hit my control arm.. and thats at about 8" or so drop in the front.

Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?
Wow 8 drop in the front, did you take out the inner fenders and is it static?
|
Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?
Static yes, I notched my cross member 3" and have 2 1/2" drop spindles. That's 5 1/2" with stock springs still. I have an unknow drop spring right now in there. So I'm guessing between 2-3" on the spring. And I am gonna cup the lca for another 1 1/2" to get my lca in spec. Going for a handling setup.

Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?
Yeah I'm going for a handling set up as well but being that low is it hard to daily driver

Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?
Mine isn't a daily. It's just a toy. But I see those ricers running around with plastic bumpers 1"-2" off the ground. So with some good eyes it could be done.

Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?
Wow awesome setup, what thickness of spacers are you running in the front? I seen your old 18x9.5 front wheel setup you ran a 1.75" spacer l.

Cool so 2.75 front and 2.50 rear and I found the grand sport wheel on jegs 303.99 is an awesome price but the price of the tires stings a little

Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?
Hu that's good information from the looks of it and cost I'm thinking that porterbuilt arms are going to do the trick and hotchkis has I front shock relocator that I really like so hopefully in a few months I can start adding to this post and thank you very much raic65 all your info helped a ton

Longer lug studs from flaps 20x9 et38 Helo Kick wheels ½" spacers all 4 ..clear axle ends in rear making et26 Just clears outside of stepside box At Least 2" to to fender metal Will change spacers for 1" spacers in the rear that have lug nut holes and more lug bolts for 6x5.5 But just picked up a set of 20x8 100 spoke (rusty and perfect) Player Wire Wheels with I believe et0 or so With 245/60/20s I will be able to still lower it wherever I want there are a couple tire size calculators on the interweb that will help you figure out what will fit |
Re: 315/35-20 on 20x10 up front?
Here is my setup, 305/30-20 on 20x10 on all 4 corners. The wheels have 50mm backspacing. I am running a 1.25" spacer on the front, but can shave that down to 1". Only because my wheels are designed for unit bearings and our hub sticks out to far.
