67 Truck ignition switch

So I have a 67 truck. The ignition switch is just layed over the column. I see that 67 was single year only for the switch. The switch in this truck has the acc position. So my question is, I need the spacer deal and the nut so I can install it correctly. What year truck do I order the parts for? Thanks again!

The spacer for the '67 is a one year only item and is not reproduced. You will have to find a used one. The screw on chrome bezel is reproduced and any parts vendor should have it....

So it's specific to the truck? The fact that it's not a 67 switch doesn't matter right?

Yes its spicific to the 67, you can install an after market switch with some creative (cough) wiring

The wiring doesn't scare me at all, it's what I do. I just need some guidance on what switch will fit the hole. I was hoping the spacer was specific to the 67 switch, cause like I said, this one has acc so I don't think it's original. Thanks for the help!

The '67 spacer and screw on bezel will fit any '67-'72 ignition switch.

OK so I know I'm beating a dead horse here, and I'm sure its just because I can't see what it is I'm missing. Can I buy an ignition switch, spacer and bezel for a 69 and put in the truck? Is it because of the hole in the dash or what is it that keeps it from working correctly? Thaks again guys.

Yes, it is because of the hole in the dash. The '67 has the small hole and the '68-'72 have the large hole.... If you enlarge the hole be sure and retain the notches and tabs around the edge of the hole to locate the correct orientation of the switch and to keep the whole assembly from turning when you turn the key...
