Anyone old enough to know who made this tool??
Found this antique screwdriver in the back of my new derby car I just bought. Anyone know who made this and around how old it is? It appears to be one piece with wood grips. Thanks!!

There are some screw drivers like that I inheritated from my Grandpa. He was born in 1897 so they are probably from the early part of the last century.

Post it on the Garage Journal or look on Alloy Artifacts and you might pin it down.

I still have one like that and use it frequently. I got it from my uncle when I was 9 yrs old. Now 69 yrs old and it looked like that when I got it. With the metal the full length, it works got a pry bar, punch etc.

The best part? full steel shank unlike a lot of the garbage you commonly see today. I have one similar as well.
