Stupid radio Problem
 
ok, so my radio works great......until i hit 35 mph then i dont hear any sound coming out of the speakers. Radio still has power. Looks like it is working. No sound. take foot off the gas. trucks slows down, right when it get to 35 mph and less, sound comes back on. WTF?????

It even does it when I'm using a USB drive to get music. Could it still be the antenna?

By that I assume you mean the radio lights are still on. Connect a volt meter so that you can read it while you drive. Either bring two wires in from the battery or connect at the radio fuse and a ground near the radio.

For it to be so precise at 35 mph, I suspect a voltage problem. Possibly an over-voltage problem and the radio has an over-voltage protection circuit.

Sitting still slowly rev the engine through its RPM range and see if it does the same thing.

It does not do it when sitting with RPM's. I was thinking an over voltage is happening. It's weird. The display still shows all the same stuff. Just no sound.

Think maybe you're getting some RFI from ignition components when you get into a high RPM regime? There used to be coils and capacitors and shielded plug wires to shield AM and FM signals from the hash.

Obviously not an original radio and also obviously not in the tuning section of the radio.
