Under bed spare tire carrier, need one!!

Where the blazes can I get that under bed spare tire carrier, all I need is that long base part that the tire actually rests on. I have all the other hardware. Need help, can't find anywhere!!

77 bonanza, 8 ft. bed. fleetside. (I think they're all the same anyway)

Thanks..

I got mine at LMC, but you can check Classic Parts also. Ebay sometimes has them. Most junkyard trucks don't have them since most people remove them to install a receiver style hitch. If you find a glide out/slide out carrier you will be very lucky. I have seen one in my lifetime.

I just went through this. I found only one at the junkyards. I had to straighten it out too.

Makes me want to kick myself for throwing away the glide out that came on my truck.

I didn't realize they were hard to find. I've hauled off the 6 or 7 I've had for scrap.

Can you post a picture of what it is your looking for. I'm looking at a truck that has a spare tire carrier under the bed (all bent of course) but want to keep it if it is original and can be repaired.

You can also get a spare tire hoist out of a newer truck and bolt that in.

I have read that the newer crank down spare tire carriers can be adapted for old squares (drilling a hole in the bumper for the crank handle), but the crank mechanism is subject to rusting in road salt areas. For as seldom as the spare is used, I would stick with the stock set up.

Is this the piece you're talking about? This came off of a 1985. This is the only piece I do have, because the rest would not unbolt to save my life. Saw-zaw time :( but yes, this one is not bent at all. Its in great shape.

right above the tag. a tire tool goes in pretty good and cranks it down.
