Does anyone sell shock relocation brackets for a 60-62 or do I need to make my own?

Also should I get front shock relocation brackets if I have 2 inch drop coils and 2 inch drop spindles?

I believe you will have to fabricate your own rear brackets. I'm not sure if the '63-'72 front shock brackets will work on the '60-'62's.

drop spindles move the wheel center up in relation to the rest of the suspension so the effect is "invisible" to shocks, only the 2" drop coils are "visible" to the shocks, so your total drop at the shocks is 2", and its been said the stock length shocks will handle that drop.

mcgaughys sells rear extenders, they are pretty universal for rear shocks and I would bet a donut they could be flipped over and modified for the upper front mounts too.

I think I am just going to move the old mounts further forward. While taking the rear end out I noticed that my shocks are to short and are probably over extending. Moving the shock should help solve that problem.

Yeah, there's something weird with mine.
Somebody put air shocks on it, and I have to keep them pumped way up to a stiff ride to keep my wheels from rubbing on the fenders. I think if I move the upper shock mount forward, it'll give a more upright position to the shocks.

POL and Classic Industries both have them. $3? plus shipping ??
I just used 2" square tube a saw and a drill.
I have a static drop of 5", so I moved the mounts back (and they go up a little) until they were at about a 15 degree angle, then drilled the tube for the stock frame holes. TA-DA!
(You need a few washers to center the shock)
By the way, after grinding the rivets off and removing the stockers, I think they will be good for replacing the frront mounts! :metal::metal:

Thinking of doing the same thing for the rear. I ran across two spare shock mount bolts that came with the last pair of shocks I bought and I'd like to make these work. Just waiting on the rain to pass on thru. I think I finally have the fronts situated, just need a better quality shock...I hope...
