That is very close, I wonder if that one is from a 72. I have one off of a 72 and it is longer overall. Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for the response. I just went out and measured mine on my 71. It is closer to 16". They must have changed for the 72 model.

So I measured from the fuel tank to inner fender. They seem to be 16", but I will have to remove them this weekend and clean them up.
