After two years or so. I finally came home with the rear end. All Strange an Wildwood 35 spline axles. Just wanted to show it off a little.

Tim makes some MEAN components. The fab on that carrier/center looks

PS there's no first D in Wilwood

Re: Finally got the rearend.

well the reason for me asking the 'op' is cause I'm wondering what route I should go! since I also did read 'blue rat' bulletproof 12 bolt! I'm looking for a daily driver rearend that can handle 800hp, when I build an ls with twin turbos! but for now I'm going to narrow the 12 bolt rear 4" per side for the 15x12's I have to fit 29x15x15 mt or 31's haven't made my mind up on what size yet!

Re: Finally got the rearend.

You can fit a 15x12 on a stock width rear fwiw, so long as your willing to run a really high backspacing. I'm running it right now with a 325/55/15, but the only advantage being that I can toss stock junkyard 12 bolts in if i need to (kinda ghetto, but its got its positives).

We battled the question of "Build it" or just toss scrap 10bolts into our Ws6 for the last 3 years....I think we're on #7.....and its finally getting the built rear this year lol

Usually when I say,, THATS A NICE REAR END I'm not talking of anything made of sheet metal,,, but that looks pretty solid,, err umm firm,, and nicely put together... wait?? What are we talking about again?

There is a guy on eBay that does nice work and is pretty reasonably priced. I would recommend a nine inch with moser axles and a spool unless you are gonna be road racing.

Sorry it took so long to get back to everybody. That is the Strange S Trac differential 35 spline axles. With four piston calipers.

That is one nice rear.... ;) the Wilwoods are the way to go and they setup real well on the 9" ends. I have the Dynalite 4 piston on mine with an Auburn spooled 3rd member. May have to dump the spool for street driving tho.
