65 Vent window rubber seal question

Does the vent window need to come out to replace the rubber seals. There are 2 seals. I'm guessing the straight one pulls right out but was wandering about the other one?

Yes you will need to remove the vent assembly to replace the seals. The lower pivot for the glass has a tension spring and retaining nut that you will need to remove, along with getting a upper pivot rivet replacement kit.

Here is a popular thread showing the rebuild process. It should answer a lot of questions. Also, look at the 60-60 FAQ Index for answers to many questions about these trucks.
