Re: lowering 49 S10
s10 frame? easy peasy, 2" drop spindles and 2" coils in the front. in the back use 2" drop leaves and 3" blocks, you will need angled clocks or pinion angle shims to realign the driveshaft with that much drop.
dont forget new shocks or you will lose your fillings. |
Re: lowering 49 S10
Yea 2" drop spindles and 3" drop springs for the rear I'd recommend 4" lowering leafs and maybe a 1-2" block something about 4" and up blocks seems sketch your putting added leverage and strain on the u bolts. People do it tho depends on what your budget is. Over 4" drop in the rear you might need a bolt in c notch i know my frame sitting in the garage has 9" from axle to frame on stock suspension not sure how much there would be with a body and a full tank of gas now take out 5" from that now you only have 4" of bump travel. The notch will net you about 2-3" inches of travel :mm:
You would just need lowering spindles new run about 150 on ebay. lowering springs http://www.belltech.com/products/bel...its-15230.html bolt in c notch http://*************/notches/bolt-c-notch-kit |
