How many quarts of tranny fluid in a dry TH350?
 
I put 11 in and it still doesn't show on the dip stick it's a 1977 swb.

mine took a full 12 for transmission, cooler, and torque converter

did you fill the converter before you put in on the tranny?

Add 1 quart of fluid to the converter.

i remember filling it before hand but not how many i put in it. i just remember the total being a case even. this was after a complete rebuild with new pump and torque converter.
