spicer pto
Good evening gents
I have a 1966 c20 4spd sm420 I think. It has been a farm dump bed since new. The cover plate on the side of the tranny needs a new gasket and seal for the pto shaft. Does anyone have the part numbers? The local auto parts stores will probably not know what i am talking about. Thanks, Lowell |
Re: spicer pto
Novack, or you can make your own gasket from material at your local auto parts store. You can also use silicone .

All Fel-Pro numbers
55380 standard six bolt mounting gasket 55372 .020" thickness, used for shimming 55379 .010" thickness, used for shimming I never had to use the shim gaskets on anything I've worked on, but I guess it depends on the application. |

Thank you for the part numbers, that is the only thing that leaks on my old truck. |
Re: spicer pto
No problem. I'm not too sure, but I was told that's what those two part numbers are for. I looked on Google and it just calls them PTO gaskets.

You're welcome, what's the model number on the PTO?
