roof drip rail caulking

Anyone know what type of caulking to use above windshield drip rail? We dug what was left of the old stuff out to expose and weld shut a few holes in the roof.

I used ACDelco 10-2013 Body Joint and Seam Filler Compound, and a rag with mineral spirits to smooth out the places where I didn't have a steady hand. Here it is on Amazon:

Most guys use a self-leveling seam sealer. Most are two-part epoxy. There are several brands but 3-M, SEM and Eastwood seem to be popular choices. If you go to your paint dealer, they should be able to get you the right stuff.

I used the 3M 8307 two-part self leveling on the horizontal surfaces. It dries in less than 5 minutes so if you run a tape line, remove the tape as soon as you lay the sealer down. It is sandable/paintable in 15-20 minutes. I used 3M 8308 two-part heavy-bodied on the vertical surfaces. It is much thicker than the 8307 and stayed in place without running. You need an appicator gun, I found mine on ebay for $25 shipped.
