Just had new camshaft installed

Well I just had a new camshaft installed on my 1972 GMC. What a difference it has made. Like driving a whole new truck.

Sorry guys, not Mike the Mechanic here. Had everything done at my local shop. Here is a list of what was done to the truck. Truck also has a 350 with 91000 miles on it. Fuel pump gasket, hydraulic camshaft, manifold said, Lifter, timing chain set, timing cover set, valve cover gaskets, choke thermostat, PCV valve.

So what felt new? More torque, HP, sound, response?

For starters, the truck doesn't feel like it wants to die every time you sitting at a red light. I always had to put it in neutral when I was in that situation. That is the biggest change that I have noticed so far.
