What size lowering blocks to use?
 

I have a bolt in c notch and I ordered a super track bar already. I have the shock relocating brackets and I'm running bags. I want to order some blocks so that I can run more air in the bags but I cant decide whether to run 1.5 or 2 inch blocks I'm more than likely gonna run 15 inch wheels. Any input?

I think 1 inch might be your limit as you said you were running 15 inch wheels. If you go 2 inches your axle bolts might be below your scrub line.

The scrub line. There are those who tempt fate. But it can be an expensive attempt.

I have 1 1/4" blocks in mine with 3 degrees machined into the top to correct the pinion angle. The blocks move the rear forward thats as tall as I wanted to go and also keep the scrub line intact.

Ok, so question on this. I am getting a set of 02 wrangler rear springs, and have a 2 inch block of steel that I will throw on with custom U bolts. With the amount of drop this will give me, should I be using an axle shim??

I have heard from the folks that used them is the wrangle springs are too soft. they really don't support the truck well even with an empty bed.

I have TJ Springs and they are coming out this winter. Limit's hauling even one or two buddies at a Car Show. I am going with the correct lowered springs.
